Each shirt begins with a heavyweight, made-in-USA blank from Los Angeles Apparel, a brand known for its high-quality basics, ethical manufacturing, and classic American styling. Their commitment to fair wages, sustainability, and durable construction aligns closely with the values behind Pennypack Crates. The result is a shirt that’s built to last, with a premium feel designed for everyday wear.
To bring our design to life, we partnered with Forward Screen Printing, a San Marcos–based print shop that specializes in working with independent brands and artists. FWD brings a hands-on approach to every step of the process, using eco-conscious methods and attention to detail.
For this run, we used water-based inks—a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastisol. These inks soak into the fabric rather than sitting on top, creating a soft, breathable print that ages beautifully over time while maintaining comfort and quality.
By working with Forward Screen Printing and using responsibly made materials, we’re proud to support local makers and deliver a garment that reflects the thoughtfulness and intention behind everything we do at Pennypack Crates.
